Register your Child

The Dunedin Children's Choir was formed in January, 2023, and is open to 7-16 year olds in the Dunedin region. 

The three choirs that comprise the Dunedin Children's Choir are:

Junior Choir - for 7-10 year olds (rehearsing at 3.45-4.45 on Wednesdays)

Senior Treble Choir - for 11-16 year olds (rehearsing at 5-6.30 on Wednesdays)

Senior Lower Voices Choir - for 11-16 year olds (rehearsing at 4.30-5.30 on Fridays)

All rehearsals are held at St John's Church in Roslyn.

The choir runs for the entire year, and a yearly commitment is expected. This ensures that we are able to develop the children's vocal and musical abilities through our sequential approach, and that we have time to prepare well-rehearsed programmes of music for upcoming performances. It is compulsory for all students to attend all rehearsals. 

However, we completely understand if children are sick, you have an overseas trip planned or there is an unavoidable emergency. In these instances we require written notice as soon as possible.
